How to make your own colors at home. It’s easier than you think. You’re going to need: a skein of 100% wool yarn a microwave oven (of course) dyes (for this tutorial I use Jacquard, easily found to buy online) a recipient that can be put in a microwave vinegar water plastic spoons Before you start adding colors, leave your yarn in a solution of water + vinegar (3 Tbs for each 100gr of yarn) for at least 30 minutes. Do you know when you have many things to do and you don’t know where/how to start? That’s me today.
