One of those versatile patterns that you can use with different functions. For this cowl/headband, I used Da Fazenda Merino Bulky, a supersoft yarn. Size 50 cm x 18 cm Material 2 skeins of Merinos Super Bulky (Da Fazenda. 100% merino; 100g/48m) Needles 10 mm Notions: scrap yarn to leave sts on hold. This shawl was first elaborated in a class of Vithard Villumsem, “Knitting with art yarn”, during Twist Fiber Festival 2013, in St. André Avellin, QC, Canada. Simple mittens

Since I watched The Hobbit, my attention was drawn to Gandalf’s mittens: You can’t see well in the picture, but in the movie it’s much more visible.
