Someone already said: creativity is 90% of hard work + 10% of inspiration. I can’t agree more. Behind every (knit) idea well succeed there are plans, calculations, swatches (MANY!), sketches… And this is what I did this week. At first, I didn’t know if it’s going to work. Ok, I agree. I’m kind of geek. I was waiting anxiously to watch The Hobbit, since I loved the first Tolkien’s trilogy. But I had another reason to watch it: the costumes. All wool that was used in the movie was provided by Mary Hall and her husband Selwin, of Hallblacks Natural Wool Products, from Nelson (NZ).
