With this piece I want to play with the idea of being someone else, being in someone else’s “heart”, in an exercise of detaching from ourselves/transposing ourselves into another body, another skin, another situation, another life. A metaphor for compassion. When was the last time you did something for the first time in your life? I did last week: I spun cashmere that I have bought from my friend Amélie. I confess I was a little concerned because I didn’t know if I was skilled enough to spin such a fine and special fiber. But I tried and kind of succeed.
